Busy for the Holidays
Well, I’ve finally gotten motivated to create some Xmas presents. I don’t like shopping for gifts when I can make them myself. That is pretty much the spirit of the season is it not?
When I picked up my daughter, Tea, from junior kindergarten I was pleased to see that she had been busy creating at school too. Her Marshmellow Snowman looks really delicious out of the ziplock.
It’s been too long…
I literally have not found time to sit and post on my blog! Shame on me for not sharing with everyone what I have been up to.
Actually, artistically NOT much! Okay, I’ve got my “Little Big Eyes” paintings going (Sold “Gwenaelle-des-Mehnirs” the other day…yeah!). I’m currently working on two right now. Don’t know when those will be finished for Sale.
I’ve also been working on jewlery (Sold 3 beaded bracelets) and am trying out a technique to adapt my paintings as wooden pendants. Still in the working.
Like every other Mom/Crafter out there I also have the house to get ready for my daughters Christmas and my Mom is visiting from France!
Promise I will keep up with the art posting on a regular basis as soon as things calm down around the house.
In the meantime you can keep up with what I’m doing on my Flickr! page http://www.flickr.com/photos/pixiesinthehouse/
Mr. Mummy has left us!
My large Mummy was sold on Etsy Saturday! He’s going to be living in Raleigh N.C.
Now I just hope little Mummy will be so lucky!
LITTLE MUMMY SOLD AS WELL! YEAH!!!!
Picasaweb Page!
You can check out most of my Etsy work for sale as well as the pices I am working on through my picasaweb page!
Just hangin’ around…
This little guy is waiting to be adopted through Etsy before Halloween arrives!
I made a smaller version of him (also listed in my shop).
They will sit around and try to keep out of trouble until that day they finally find a permanent home.
Where I came up with Pixies in the House!
This is one of the very first paintings I created when I first arrived to the States. My Ogre keeps it framed on the wall where everyone can see it no matter where we live. It is currently hanging at the top of the stairs of our new home in Centreville, Va. to greet who ever enters the house.
I guess it’s a reminder that PIXIES dwell in every home…better to honor them then fight them! They may be small, but effective!
